A chamber no map remembers
Three figures stand before a great scale hanging in the dark. On one side lies a strip of sapphire cloth. On the other, a page torn from a bloodline record, its ink freshly crossed out. The scale tips.
“Known quantity.”“Unstable.”“And the door?”
Who is weighing the family, and what door are they afraid of? That answer is in the book.

01 The story
The strongest thing alive vanished.
No one saw a fight. No one found a trace. His children grew up anyway.
The Sapphire Dragon raised three half-dragon children alone, in a cave hidden by enchanted fog. Nobody could touch him, even when he wasn’t trying. Then one day he was simply gone, as if he had been plucked out of existence.
Years later, Amatesa still lights incense on his birthday. Ryuu runs the family’s sapphire trade and keeps his temper on a leash. Tetsuya jokes his way through sword practice. They have built a life. Then a seer tells Amatesa where to look, and warns her that someone is already looking for her.
The Sapphire householdHybrids · Half-breeds · Family
S
A holy knight who gets his neck snapped, stands back up and says he is not a corpse.
月
A queen in a kingdom of endless snow who reads the stars and already has the family’s names.
目
Something that has watched the sapphire bloodline for generations and has not blinked yet.
02 The bloodline
Five fighters. One name.
Swipe, drag or use the arrow keys. Hit Awaken to see what each of them is holding back.
Amatesa
Also in the storm
Half-elf childLea
Tiny, hooded and silent. She speaks in signs, teleports whole groups before finishing her tea, and notices everything.
S-tier blademasterWilliam
Ryuu’s oldest friend. Always stern, always calculating, usually three steps ahead of the room.
MercenaryCrescent
A stranger on a train platform with Amatesa’s face. Her moon-blessed magic walks straight through any defence.
Holy knightRaphael
Red armour, red eyes, a blade dragons can’t hold. His family’s trade is killing them.
Queen of AstroLuna
She rules a land of permanent snow from under a glass ceiling. “All according to the stars. They never lie.”
UnknownThe Watcher
Under the stars. It has been following the family for a very long time.
03 The father
The Sapphire Dragon
When he transformed he became a massive dragon covered in sapphire scales. Nobody even knew his kind existed until his children came along.

Witnesses
None. No explosion, no struggle, no body.
Searched
All his usual places, including his favourite sleeping spot.
Family theory
Someone found a way to seal him. He would never go down without a fight.
Press and hold. Every year on his birthday, Amatesa says the same thing to his photograph.
04 The codex
Rules of a world that bites.
Beast lands in the south, human kingdoms in the north, and a ranking system everybody pretends not to care about.
I
The tiers
Every fighter gets a letter. The letters decide who gets hired, feared or challenged.
SWilliam · Raphael · the Necromancer
A+Fourmin the four-armed minotaur · Commander Jo
ADarius, and climbing
Don’t get so focused on the letters. Everyone has a weakness.II
Natural Disaster
A title, not a nickname. It goes to the few who could flatten a region with power comparable to the planet’s own. Ryuu holds one: N.D. 4. He asks people to call him Master instead.
He’s a walking calamity, if he ever chose to be.III
The rejection
Mages whisper that if you grow too strong, the planet rejects you. Masters tend to disappear a few years after earning the title. No body. Almost no trace.
IV
Sapphire stones
Ryuu’s gemstones store spells. One stone, one water blast big enough to end an orc problem. Pay late and the interest is steep. His little brother does the collecting.
V
The veiled forest
The fog around the family’s cave is an illusion Ryuu wove into a living forest. Walk in without holding a dragon’s hand and you could be lost for good.
VI
The red market
In the beast lands nobody farms animals. Real meat comes from paid donors who are healed or resurrected afterwards, and it costs a fortune. Anything cheaper comes from the red market.
VII
Two tongues
Humans are born speaking Human. Everyone else is born speaking Beast. The other language has to be learned. Hybrids like the Sapphires are born with both, which is useful when a hotel clerk tries to overcharge them.
05 Fragments
Ten pieces. No ending.
A trailer in ten cards. Keep scrolling and the dragon threads its way beneath them. The last two stay sealed.
Fragment 01Chapter 1
01
The shrine
One candle. One photograph of a smiling old man. Every year on his birthday, Amatesa lights incense for a father nobody buried.
I’ll find out who took you and rip their heads off myself.
Fragment 02Chapter 5
02
The ambush
An easy job in the metal city. Then two S-ranks on the hill, an army of the dead in the streets, and a knight whose neck turns all the way round.
I’m not a corpse. You simply can’t kill me with such a pathetic technique.
Fragment 03Chapter 10
03
The seer
Two in the morning. Candles that swell as she walks past. A hooded figure who says her name before she can.
What lies ahead is a path you cannot come back from.
Fragment 04Chapter 11
04
The cousin
A stranger runs up to her at a train stop. Same height. Same eyes. Same face. She says they’re family and asks to come along.
Life is short, and you’ll never know when someone will leave.
Fragment 05Chapter 15
05
The night out
One night at a club carved into stone. By sunrise there are pillars of water spinning where home used to be, and someone very small is missing.
Dad must be in trouble!
Fragment 06Chapter 18
06
Five shadows
Humans believed dragons were nearly extinct. Then five of them cross the sky in daylight, and whole cities go silent underneath.
When I find them, I end their entire bloodline.
Fragment 07Chapter 21
07
The cold
Amatesa has never been cold in her life. So why, on the flight north, does her body suddenly remember freezing?
I’ve never been cold. But I remember it.
Fragment 08Chapter 23

The queen under glass
A kingdom where it has always snowed. Today it rains. And a queen in a ball gown refuses to step back from an angry dragon.
All according to the stars. They never lie.

The quietest person in the cave raises her hands and signs one sentence. Nobody in the family breathes while it is translated.
